Getting ready for the harvest
Spring has sprung, and we are approaching the busiest time of the season. Not only is this our peak production period, but also the time of the year in which our seaweeds get harvested from the mussel lines in the Marlborough Sounds. We are very thankful to have a hardworking and experienced harvest team on our side as well as mussel farmers that enable us to turn this invasive seaweed species into our high-quality products. Better for our environment, better for our food.
We want to thank the Marine Farming Association for their support and collaboration over the last 10 years and are looking forward to future endeavors!
The Marine Farming Association is a regional industry body representing aquaculture interests in the top of the South Island of New Zealand (Te Tauihi).
